Stream CharlestheFirst’s ‘Out of the Dark’ mix from Room Service with 8 IDs

CE favorite CharlestheFirst, who we just named on our Top 25 Conscious DJs list, has been no stranger to the live streams during quarantine. During his recent live stream on Room Service, the West Coast bass artist played a soothing downtempo set complete with some the weekend’s best live visuals. The set, filmed by Shawn Howe, showcases CharlestheFirst playing from his cozy living room while switching between psychedelic visuals and scenic views of nature. Now the mix is available online for all to enjoy again and again.

The best part: The mix contains a whopping eight CharlestheFirst IDs, including collaborations with kLL sMTH, Potions, and Tsuruda. The set also contained a sober portion paying homage to the late Chynna, during which times Charles played out his remix of her track, “The Conversation” while the camera panned to the back wall where “Rest Easy Love” was written.
