Illenium – In Your Arms ft. X Ambassadors (Alan Walker Remix)

Denver-based melodic mastermind Illenium has been steadily releasing different versions of his smash hit with New York-based alternative band X Ambassadors lately. First came their stripped-back, acoustic cut of “In Your Arms,” released just last week. Now Miller shares Norwegian-British EDM producer Alan Walker‘s remix of his collaboration track, “In Your Arms.”

The new remix does what a good remix should do. That is, leave the original intact while putting it’s very own marks on the track. Alan Walker’s retouch places “In Your Arms” into a more floating, open space, complete with ethereal builds, future bass drops, indie-tinged melodic synths, and a different drum kit. Of course, X Ambassadors’ lyrics still take center stage, leading the feel-good song to its hooks, build-ups, and drops,

“In Your Arms” has surpassed 91 million global streams, while streams of ILLENIUM’s acclaimed third studio album, Ascend, have amassed 946 million. CE also included the album in our Top Albums of the Year.
