The joint effort arrives as the second single from CloZee’s highly-anticipated Neon Jungle LP, which is pinned for release on July 3.
Following the release of her first Neon Jungle single, “Winter Is Coming,” her heavyweight single with Opiuo, “Bam Bam,” along with stunning Room Service and LiB DGTL sets, French artist CloZee is back. This time, the goddess of glitch looks toward the horizon to continue the album hype with her next single “Air,” featuring Sauvane.
“When Sauvane and I wrote ‘Air’ six months ago,” says CloZee on the track, “we never thought it would come out during such a pivotal and important moment for our world and history. The song is about earth, asking human to be respectful, to be loving and caring towards each other and towards their own planet or we risk to see it burn. This song is dedicated to all the brave people who are fighting in the name of justice & love, and battling against the pandemics our world is facing right this very moment.”
“Air” is a track that stands as a testimony to CloZee’s artistic breadth. Featuring the lyrical genius of Sauvane, this atmospheric listen is a luminous triumph that is saturated with feminine energy. “Air” is the perfect counterpart to “Winter Is Coming,” as its tenor is slowed to a cool burn that highlights the intimate, rhythmic, and nurturing side of contemporary bass music. Mapping the blueprint that guides the sound of Neon Jungle, CloZee stabs a fork in the road with this narcotic gem.
A global pioneer of world bass, CloZee is revered for her ability to dissolve the geographic and regional barriers that exist in modern music. Combining her experience in worldwide touring with her upbringing in Toulouse, France, every CloZee track is a nod to her travels as both an artist and wanderer.
