Nitti Gritti goes ‘All In’ on house with latest Spinnin’ EP
As a Latin Grammy Award-winning producer, Nitti Gritti has had the chance to work with an A-list line of collaborators from Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull to Diplo, Bad Bunny, and more. Now the Miami-based artist has come full force with his All In EP on the notable Spinnin’ Records. The EP includes two previously released records, “Eyes On You” featuring Jimmy Levy and “Another Way” with Mario, along with three energizing tracks alongside Emma Jensen, Midian, and Reo Cragun.
“I play everything in my sets, so if I get to play as much as I want in an hour, I might as well make all the different styles,” says Nitti Gritti. “I make music at random times or segments in my creative process. So it’s actually very natural for me to switch in between them, just like my sets, focus, and attitude in life – I love keeping myself occupied with VARIETY.”
While Nitti Gritti has been know to play heavier hitting bass tracks, he’s also known to be all over the map stylistically. Recently, however, he returned to Tchami’s Confession imprint with another house EP, 4 On The Floor, which contained punchy tech-house elements. House is actually the first electronic genre Nitti Gritti discovered.
“When I moved to Haiti (because my parents were missionaries), house music just started becoming popular over there and me and all my friends would listen to it and discover it,” he continued.
