Lost Lands and Bass Canyon postponed to 2021 amid worsening coronavirus pandemic

With so much uncertainty surrounding the world as the COVID-19 pandemic continues its spread, a few more festivals have headed to the cancellation graveyard in 2020. Excision‘s two premiere festivals, Lost Lands and Bass Canyon, have officially announced they will not be taking place in Legends Valley, Ohio and Washington’s The Gorge, respectively. The bass music pioneer took to his socials to lament over the decision and to provide more information over refunds and rescheduling the events.

“While it is sad to not have our festivals this year, we’re hard at work taking advantage of this extra time to ensure next year is the best yet. I’ve been hard at work on a new album as well as some other surprises I can’t wait to share,” says Excision in a public statement.”

Refund requests will be available from June 26 to July 27 and will be processed 30 days after the final date of submission. Ticket holders will also have the option to roll over their passes. For those who elect to keep their tickets for 2021, no action is required, and payment plans will be paused until February 1, 2021.

Both announcements also include new dates for the festivals. Lost Lands will now be moving to September 24-26, 2021 and Bass Canyon to August 20-22, 2021. More details can be found on the Lost Lands and Bass Canyon websites.
