Louis The Child release highly-anticipated debut album, ‘Here For Now’

Hailing from Chicago, Louis The Child have been bringing their unique line of bubbly future pop to festival main stages from Coachella to Lollapalooza and Electric Forest. So to say their debut album was a long time in the works may be an understatement. After a brief postponement, the future bass duo finally releases their highly-anticipated debut album, Here For Now, out now on Interscope Records.

While the LP was originally scheduled for a June 12 release, Louis The Child came forth a few days ahead with an announcement that Here For Now would be postponed as part of their efforts to stand with Black Lives Matter and against systemic racism. The two-piece outfit informed fans of the decision in an Instagram post, writing,

“We’re excited for you to hear [the album] , but right now we need to keep out focus on this movement. We encourage you to keep your foot on the gas, keep educating, keep donating, keep showing up in the streets with us, and remember to vote!”

The 14-track project comes with already released singles in “Little Things” Quinn XCII and Chelsea Cutler,  “Nobody Like You” with Vera Blue, “Every Color” with Foster The People, and “Don’t Mind.” Those tracks are now joined by a collection of future pop gems that glitter with Louis The Child’s shimmering signature style. Give Here For Now a listen now.
