Malaa gives REZZ & Grabbitz’s “Someone Else” a high-energy house tune-up

Following her JUNO Award for Electronic Album of the Year for Beyond The Senses, REZZ‘s momentum only grows stronger. So much so that her recently release Grabbitz-assisted track, “Someone Else,” is getting remixed by big-time producers like Malaa. The remix comes with little surprise considering how Space Mom and the enigmatic hooded house figure are long-time friends and collaborators on “Criminals” who’ve shared the mainstage plenty. Surprisingly enough, however, Malaa’s remix lands as the first official remix of a REZZ track ever.

While Grabbitz’s stand out vocals offer a familiar ground to build his 4×4 terrain, Malaa wastes no time before twisting and turning “Someone Else” on its head and bending the track to his will. The Frenchman dices up the vocal sample with high energy four-to-the-floor percussion, an entirely new drop, and his signature bassline that begs dancers to not move a muscle.
