Lido returns with ‘Rise’ music video off upcoming LP + shares album release date [WATCH]
Almost a year ago to the date, Lido took to his social media to announce that he’d finished a new album. He did all this on 808 Day at exactly 8:08pm, where he also tagged a private PEDER account with exactly 808 followers. Suffice it to say, PEDER was the name of the full-length project and although almost a full year has gone by, the young star still has yet to announce the album’s release date—until now. He’s officially confirmed release date for his highly-anticipated sophomore album, out September 18, and has given fans a new single from the LP.
Titled “Rise,” the record is a sultry R&B-infused gem that taps into Lido’s pop roots. Led by his very own vocals and backed by a cool, downtempo rhythm, the track features swelling synths, bubbly overtones, and chill samples. Considering how well-received Lido’s previous debut Everything LP was almost two years ago, fans are certainly in for a treat this fall with PEDER.
