Excision & Wooli’s ‘Evolution’ gets full remix package

After much anticipation, Excision and Wooli released their collaborative Evolution EP in September 2019. The 4-track project was held up by die-hard Excision fans everywhere, making its way into the pair’s sets at Lost Lands and Thunderdome sets. Now, almost a year later, the veteran dubstep producer and his protegé have unleashed the official remix package for the massively successful EP.
For the ten-track album, Evolution: The Remixes doubles down with plenty of new takes from heavy bass music’s most promising acts. Fans will find Kompany, Hairitage, and MadReckless each remixing “Lockdown,” Ray Volpe and Hi I’m Ghost offering their own takes on the Traivecta-assisted track, “Oxygen,” Samplifire, Calcium, and Layz all remixing the title track, “Evolution,” and Must Die! and Whales remixing the exalted title, “Another Me,” a track which originally featured Seven Lions and Dylan Matthews.
