REZZ reveals unexpected remix of Porter Robinson’s ‘shehealseverything’

REZZ has certainly been doling out the remixes lately. Following her remix of Melanie Martinez’s “Tag You’re It,” and Porter Robinson‘s vinyl-only Worlds anniversary live edit of “Shepherdess (shehealseverything),” the Neptune Goddess is back with a surprise remix of Robinson’s same tune. REZZ previously announced the remix over her Twitter to much fanfare and now the track has arrived on the REZZ Secret Tunes SoundCloud account. Any REZZ fan can tell you the account is the go-to place to hear the many special tunes Space Mom will most likely be delivering in her sets at some point or another.

REZZ’s signature bass stamp permeates the track, with heavy mid-tempo elements that undergird much of Robinson’s 8-bit video gaming sound design. The true payoff lays in the first drop, which REZZ injects the eerie vocal sample, “Hear what I hear.” Twinkling synths take listeners further into REZZ’s hypnotic world and make the case for Robinson to drop this special surprise remix into one of his future sets. Only time will tell on that one.

It’s no secret REZZ is an enormous fan of Robinson’s catalogue. The unofficial remix marks her second of Porter’s tunes, with the first arriving with 2018’s “Divinity.” Take a listen to her newest remix now.
