Eric Prydz is a master of keeping his ravenous worldwide fanbase always guessing and coming back for more. When the Swedish icon first debuted his “Opus” track at EDC Las Vegas 2015, the then-ID would go on to achieve mythological status in the greater Prydz catalogue. Then, in 2016, he ended his set at Circuit Grounds with another then-ID that had a similar structure and alluring finale-style appeal. That track would later become identified as “Nopus,” a sister track to “Opus,” the title track to his debut studio album.
Complete with Prydz’s trademark stabs and deep pads, cathedral organ chords, and a slowly building progressions, and those eponymous Prydz releases, “Nopus” has become another storied ID that fans have been yearning to be pulled out from the vault. Now, it seems they may just have their wish. In a recent random Twitter exchange between the progressive producer and a fan, Prydz hinted that the track is coming soon. Cue the mass healing.
it's coming..
