Versatile producer Kumarion shares VIP edit for meteoric single, ‘Want It’
Kumarion‘s “Want It” is the song that has been gracing quarantine streams all year long, earning co-signs from Boombox Cartel, CloZee, Feed Me, JOYRYDE, RL Grime, Louis the Child, and Subtronics since its February release. Now the rising producer has released a VIP edit as the latest iteration of his 2020 hit as a teaser for the forthcoming Want It Remixes EP. The project celebrates one of the top electronic tracks of the year and reanimates the excitement behind the auspicious talent of Kumarion.
Want It Remixes will offer a wide array of style, sound, and speeds that effectively commemorate the true purpose of Kumarion, which balances aggression and harmony in its discovery towards forward-thinking music. With the community and contemporaries behind him, Kumarion is pledged to delivering dynamic art that contributes to continued prominence of drum & bass in America.
Born in Seattle, Washington, Omar Kadmiri’s music career took shape after becoming enraptured with the drum-n-bass genre in 2011. Exposed through the punk/reggae scene, Kadmiri found admiration in the culture as well as the chaotic style of Dub/Jungle Bass music. He began making dark, melodic music on his own, subsequently forging his current moniker, Kumarion, in 2015.
With the bass music community behind him, Kumarion is pledged to delivering dynamic art that contributes to continued prominence of drum-n-bass in America. Expect more releases in the 175 BPM range from Kumarion this winter, as well as an official remix package for “Want It” this fall.
