Australian music trio RÜFÜS DU SOL have once again released a series of DJ mixes through their beloved label Rose Ave Radio. Named after a street in Los Angeles, Rose Avenue has recently launched a radio show, which presents listeners with fresh, mostly unreleased house tracks for the label’s sixth installment of DJ sets. This eclectic, two-hour-long radio mix features a number of synth-filled house breaks and nu-disco inspired grooves that provides new fans and longtime listeners alike with melodious soundscapes. Of course, every episode is accompanied by RÜFÜS DU SOL’s classic danceability.
While including a number of unreleased ID’s, RÜFÜS DU SOL’s first hour of the radio show also showcases the work of Ben Bohmer and a house-inspired remix of synth-pop band Hot Chip. In the second hour of the radio mix series, rising house/electronica producer Ela Minus drops in hot showcasing an array of four-on-the-floor tech beats that finishes off the 6th episode of Rose Ave Radio. With any luck, the radio series will continue to showcase the best of both the trio and the artists on their label for some time to come.
