Throughout the past month, Wakaan Records has given bass music fans EP projects from Rusko, Lucii, VEIL, and many more. Following their highly-successful Halloween Weekend Takeover at Montage Mountain, Wakaan is pushing forward into November with their releases of several upcoming exciting projects. The esteemed label helmed by Liquid Stranger took to their socials last week to make the announcement.
Mersiv will release his next studio full-length, titled Bermuda’s Triangle. The Denver-based artist has been steadily releasing new music since late October—with “Osmosis” and a double release over Halloween weekend, “Día de los Muertos” and the Hypnos EP. No word on which of these tracks will end up on the forthcoming LP, but fans will soon find out this Friday, November 13.
On November 17, MIZE is returning to Wakaan with his Thought Process EP. The swiftly-rising bass music producer previously released the title track off the EP back in August. In the same month, MIZE stopped by CE‘s Wide Awake Radio podcast to discuss the behind-the-scenes of working with his dream label.
The remainder of November sees Wakaan EP releases from newcomers Guilt Chip and Suahn, with their Absolute Ruin EP, on November 20. The two up-and-coming artists have previously swapped remixes, with Suahn remixing Guilt Chip’s “Cupid” and Guilt Chip re-touching Suahn’s “Amazing!” The forthcoming Wakaan joint-effort marks the artists’ first time working together on a cohesive project.
Wakaan favorites Esseks and Shanghai Doom, will then round out the month with their joint EP, titled Soul Stone, due out November 24. Given how fans love Wakaan’s ability to spotlight rising bass producers early and often, the imprints November releases are all highly-anticipated for underground-inclined bass music aficionados.
