Join Carl Cox, Sasha, and hundreds more in the season’s biggest charity live stream
2020 has been an indisputable crap-shoot. The world is living through one of the toughest years in the past decade and, with the holidays just around the corner, music fans are eager to find reasons to celebrate something hopeful. Music has always been a huge catalyst for cultural and social change, and one of the most powerful channels of expression for the emotional state of the world. Rooted in this passion for driving positive change is the initiative started by Last Night A DJ Saved My Life Foundation (LNADJ).
The event is called Set For Love. Originally inspired by George Evelyn aka Nightmares On Wax, Set For Love is a series of events dedicated to raising money for struggling children in developing countries. The idea behind the event is built around the idea that each DJ, artist, or performer donates a set, while the money raised from the selling of tickets or other goods within the event supporting grassroots projects in developing countries including Tanzania, Uganda, The Philippines, and Nepal. These projects are focused on creating a sustainable future for children, young people, and their families and will be delivering food and water, education, safety, and trauma rehabilitation.
Due to social distancing this year, Set For Love’s Holiday edition, also known as Xmas Appeal, has been scheduled to be hosted 100 percent online, in what hopes to be one of the biggest simultaneous DJ livestreams of the season. The headliners are Carl Cox, Sasha, Kevin Saunderson, Fatima Hajji, and more. So far, more than 700 DJs from over 50 countries have registered to play their own Set For Love during the weekend and will be participating in what is potentially the world’s largest simultaneous livestream event.
I’m happy to play a Set For Love for World Children’s Day on Beatport. Please check us out this Friday 20th November and support the cause, it’s going to change a child’s life forever and all the while having fun with the music we’re playing. Let’s make this one the biggest it can possibly be!”

Given how Set For Love accepts all levels of skill or professional background in the industry, all DJs and producers are encouraged to participate in the event as well. All hopeful participants need to do is sign-up for the fundraiser here and host your event between November 20-22, 2020.
Streaming starts on Beatport’s Twitch channel from 10am – 9pm EST.
