Anjunadeep showcases fresh downtempo and electronica talent in ‘Reflections Vol. 2’

Those looking for a sign to leave 2020 behind, look no further than Anjunadeep‘s latest offering. Succeeding the first volume, which was released in October, Reflections Vol. 2 comprises of material from the label’s freshest downtempo and electronica acts in a serene all-new compilation album. The Above & Beyond-headed A&R powerhouse, which unearthed thriving talents Cubicolor, Lane 8, Moon Boots and Yotto to the masses, has the new year looking hopeful with the second installment of their Reflections compilation series.

Kicking off the 10-track collection are REVE D’ELLE and TÂCHES with their cool vocal-driven “Don’t Bite” and an acoustic rendition of Kidnap‘s “Silence”. Jody Wisternoff brings it down with her brooding “Morning U” before plunging into Croquet Club’s cinematic “Night Lights”. Other highlights of the record include Luttrell‘s melodic “October Song”, as well as stunning singles from Martin Roth, Luigi Sambuy, Lycoriscoris and Anjunadeep debuts from Tryst and Dotmaka.

October’s release of ‘Reflections Vol. 1‘ hit the mark for equal parts chill and epic with artists like Lane 8, Yotto, and Qrion, and the sophomore release of the series is no different. Anjunadeep continues to prove as a collective ear for talent, flourishing in the mellower side of electronic music, like the ambient, chill step, and downtempo subgenres.
