Big Gigantic flips Moody Good’s ‘Kush’ with an energizing DYI music video accompaniment

After nearly three years, Big Gigantic has pulled out another remix whip from the vault. The last time the Colorado-based hybrid funk-electronic duo had remix duties was for The Knocks on their 2018 single, “Ride Or Die.” Granted, they had been silently busy in the studio for a few years as they worked on their Free Your Mind LP, which released in early February of 2020. Now the pair have flipped Moody Good‘s 2019 Single, “Kush,” for a smooth and swanky remix that strikes gold.

Big Gigantic are no strangers to heavy-hitting dubstep, but the direction that Jeremy and Dominic have opted to go on the “Kush” face-lift is to turn a heavy dubstep track into a soulful number. Injecting the original with layers of funky synths, wavy melodies, and instrumental improvisation, Big Gigantic gives fans a taste of their old school vibes on their “Kush” remix.

They’ve also released a DIY music video accompaniment featuring Dom on keys and sax and Jeremy on guitar and drums.
