As co-owner and acting Editor-in-Chief of YourEDM, Matt Meadow is an industry tastemaker as well as the heart, soul, and main writing voice of a top dance music outlet with millions of followers worldwide. He is also the face of the recently-launched video podcast series, EDMMatters, where Matt recently interviewed Flux Pavilion on his newest album and the artist’s new artistic direction that turns away from dubstep.

Approaching seven years with YourEDM, Matt just recently passed the 10,000 article mark. He has covered a number of topics from festivals to local shows to music releases, spanning editorial content, advertising, reviews, interviews, and more. Born and raised in Los Angeles, his passion for electronic music began in the late 2000s but it wasn’t until he saw deadmau5 at Coachella in 2010 that his love for live EDM grew. Matthew owes his passion for music to his father who raised him on classics like The Rolling Stones, Blondie, Led Zeppelin, and more, and also the occasional Aaron Carter and Nickelback.
