Wooli transports dubstep fans into ‘The Core’ with crushing Ophelia single
Revered bass artist Wooli has made his 2021 debut with “The Core,” his first offering of the year on Ophelia Records. This east coast musician’s trademark style of blending melodic and trance elements with hard-hitting bass is right at home on Seven Lions imprint, which has been trending toward heavier releases in recent months. Receiving support from the likes of KAYZO and Slander, as well as a collaborative EP with dubstep OG Excision, Wooli is well on his way to being one of the top names in bass music.
Premiering at Insomniac’s west coast Park ‘N Rave, lucky attendees were the first to hear the earth-shaking new single. “The Core” is a sound-bending masterpiece that blends dubstep with hardstyle kicks and psytrance elements to create a fiery one of a kind bass soundscape. This one is absolutely meant to be played at high volume on some serious speakers, buckle up and head straight to the center of the earth right below.
