Flume casually confirms new album in series of NFT tweets
With three albums currently under his wing—Flume, Skin, and Hi This Is Flume, respectively—Grammy-winner Flume has yet to miss. Now the Aussie future bass pioneer has casually dropped news of a new album in the works via a series of recent tweets discussing his ongoing NFT project with visual artist Jonathan Zawada.
Zawada, who is widely known for creating Flume’s iconic album art, is also confirmed to be working on his fourth studio album, according to the tweets. The incoming album would be the follow-up to Flume’s highly successful 2019 project, Hi This Is Flume, which was nominated for a Grammy this past year. Flume spoke of recently reuniting with his visual artist friend back on the mainland in the initial tweet.
“I recently moved back to Australia and have found myself living just down the road from Jonathan Zawada after we respectively spent a number of years in LA.”
