William Black enlists Annie Schindel on evocative melodic single, ‘Remedy’ via Lowly Palace

William Black is always one for bringing beauty to the tougher themes and motifs. Following “Deep End,” now the Los Angeles-based producer has joined forces with singer-songwriter, Annie Schindel, for their new track “Remedy,” out now on Lowly Palace.

The new single is about finally coming out of sadness and depression. It’s about feeling alive again— the moment all the weight is lifted and happiness returns. The track starts with a focus on Schindel’s vocals and builds into the chorus where William Black’s signature bass-centric drops continue until the end of the single.

Black makes sure he touches on important topics including depression, addiction, love, and loss in his music. Black also writes about his journey with addiction and mental health which you can hear his story on his debut album, Pages. His songs also feature his signature uplifting melodies with singers from all genres. Black’s 2018 EP, Universe, hit No. 1 on the iTunes Dance Charts, while the lead single, “Wasted on You,” charted at No. 11 on the Billboard Dance Chart.
