Beyond Existence 2021 curates top underground bass lineup across all of Texas: Mr. Bill, Supertask, Mystic Grizzly, & more

Beyond Existence (BE) has a special place in the hearts of Texans. CE can speak to that especially, given how a quarter of the staff resides in the Lone Star state. Also because, back in 2019, the team was invited to attend the mini-festival on to the outskirts of Austin back when it was a one-day event with Digital Ethos and MIZE on the line-up. Now that the organizers had a year in lockdown to re-group, plan, and come back even stronger, they are making a statement with their third annual gathering.

Taking place two days over November 19-20, headliners include the formidable IDM experimentalist Mr. Bill and mass healer/bass therapist Supertask. Not far below them sit Manifest Gang leader Mystic Grizzly, CE Artist to Watch in 2021 TieDye Ky, and vide, who will be making his Texas debut at the expanded two-day event.

This year, the genre of focus will exhibit heavily hip-hop influenced bass and glitch music with touches of melodic and experimental elements. The undercard itself features a number of CE favorites, including Benji Robot, Thought Process, Pheel., Gaddy, and more exciting up-and-comers from across the underground bass circuit. Perhaps best of all, bass afionados will be able to enjoy the live acts on the quality system that only Hennessy Sound can provide.

In addition to the visual production and top-notch tunes, attendees can expect to see art installations, lounge areas, flow toys and above all, countless smiling faces. This year’s edition also includes the option to camp (free of charge) for two full nights in order to provide a safe environment to party.

With live music events returning in full force in 2021, the folks behind the festival (two buddies who call themselves Phil and Rowdy) have just blasted out of the gates with the strongest underground bass line-up of the year. Making it’s long-awaited full-scale return, Beyond Existence is coming in sweltering hot in 2021; but luckily for this go-round, they’ve selected cooled down dates in late November and new dates in cool November and at a new venue in Texas Music Ranch.
