In what became a mainstage anthem for over a year, and played out at every last dance music festival on the earth, “Griztronics” earned itself quite the reputation since debuting at Electric Forest in 2019. As it turns out, 20/20 really is hindsight because GRiZ and Subtronics have decided to raise the stakes to another level, as it were.

Back in May, GRiZ actually alluded to the two producers being back in studio together over Twitter, which sparked a viral buzz that only the two high-powered collaborators could encite. “We knew we had to come with a dope sequel after having so much fun with GRiZTRONICS 1,” says GRiZ of the follow-up collaboration.

Now, the Denver and Philadelphia-based artists have now released “Griztronics II (Another Level),” after Subtronics teased the track live at EDC Orlando last month. GriZ continued, “After months of making so many different sounds, teasing different versions, and just generally having a blast making music we finally landed on something extra spicy. This song is mega donk ear candy energy.”
