G JONES announces IllusoryOS Tour with support from SHADES, Ivy Lab, Redrum, & more
Coinciding with the recent release of his single “On My Mind” with EPROM, the enormously talented G JONES is gearing up for his forthcoming Acid Disk 2 EP. As part of his newest project rollout, Greg Jones has officially announced his upcoming IllusoryOS Tour, featuring support from Mr. Carmack, SHADES, Ivy Lab, Redrum, Chee b2b Tsuruda, and Jon Casey, to name a few.
Greg Jones has a way of touching everything that turns to gold. A true master of his craft, he’s got not just a finely-tuned technical precision in the studio, but a deeply intimate understanding of electronic dance music culture and a respect for its historical roots. He ties these things together by thematically aligning analog instruments like Roland to his acid house sound, thereby tethering his technical prowess to the early 80s and 90s rave aughts.
That all seems to be the case with G JONES’ next EP project, which is the highly-anticipated follow-up to 2017’s Acid Disk. Surely, his IllusoryOS Tour will be giving experimental bass fans a taste for all of things of the acid hey-days.
