Skrillex to make follow-up Special Guest appearance at Second Sky Festival

Only recently coming off a surprise set in Tokyo, where he dropped a treasure trove of unreleased music on his crowd, Skrillex seems to have the all secret treats hidden in his bag of tricks. Suppose Christmas is coming early for Second Sky attendees— and it’s not even Halloween yet! For those who’ve booked Porter Robinson‘s third annual music festival, which is taking place next weekend in Oakland, fans will be in store for something tasty.

Of course, this isn’t the first time that Skrillex has appeared as the special guest at Second Sky Festival. In 2019, Porter Robinson introduced his special guest as DJ Potaro, which saw Skrillex drerssed in as the adorable anime character from Worlds. Are we in store for a Potaro round two? Either way, it’s surely going to be one of the event’s most tweeted about moments!

Skrillex will be added to 2022 bill alongside RL Grime, Bladee, Hudson Mohawke, salute, and of course, Porter Robinson for two sets: One “Together Live” set, and one as his Virtual Self alias, which will go back-to-back for the first time ever with indomintable G Jones. Fred again.. was initially on the line-up, but had to pull out last minute to put in studio hours for his debut album, which is set to release the day before Second Sky.
