Access Code and Netherlands duo Small ToK release elated dance number, ‘Think of You’

Still riding high from her latest release with Bellsavvy, “Moon on Earth,” Access Code returns with a new featured collaborator in Amsterdam-based duo Small ToK. Together, they deliver their joint single, entitled “Think of You.”

The three-minute number kicks off with distant vocal echoes and a glittering piano progression before listeners are swept into the magnetic vocals of Small ToK. From there, the track takes on the best of EDM with white noise sweeps, staccato synths, and huge room-filling drops in the style of Armin Van Buuren, David Guetta, and Vintage Culture, to name a few. The catchy lyrical hook from Small ToK (“I only think of you“) permeates the track for a bonafide dance-driven track. It’s not just another resume track for Access Code, but more largel signals a clear and swift rise to recognition for the DJ/producer out of Brazil.

Access Code (real name: Carolin Vitti) is something of a prodigy in her hometown in Brazil. She began her career at the ripe age of 13, pathing her way as the youngest DJ in Brazil and the first female child DJ in the state of Pernambuco. As a young person navigating her career and still figuring out her sound, she was already drawing in many fans. Eventually, she realized that no genre encompassed her style, and took matters into her own hands as a producer in 2017. Guided by leading female producer and DJ Reality Test, she would start to receive bookings before the launch of her debut EP, performing alongside international artists like Carl Cox, Vini Vici, and Lovra.

Access Code is certainly gaining a bit of momentum lately. Her most recent single, “Moon on Earth,” is nearing the 500K streams mark and she has a stack of international live shows lined up. As one of the hottest emerging artists out of South America right now, Vitti is definitely one to watch in 2023.
