CloZee enters a new sonic era with title track to her next full-length album, ‘Microworlds’
A purveyor of lucid sounds, French producer Chloé Herry is a worldly and rhythmic figure in the electronic music atmosphere. Now based in Denver, CloZee has made a name for herself by skewing the usual curves of bass music and evoking a spiritual and evolutionary sound.
The Odyzey Music label head now releases her new single, “Microworlds.” Along with the single, CloZee announces her forthcoming album of the same title, Microworlds, due out this summer.
Inviting listeners to dive into the otherworldly sounds of the titular single, “Microworlds” is a catalyst for what’s to come with her new album. A cinematic instrumental crescendoing with mystifying synth melodies and lush, hypnotic harmonies, “Microworlds” is a sonic odyssey into the transcendent bass music that CloZee has pioneered throughout her career.
With Microworlds, CloZee explores her escapist mind to take listeners to imaginative, utopian places. Each song acts as a microcosm of sound, time, and space, ‘Microworlds’ follows suit with its inherently transportive nature.
Regarding the title track of her next LP project, CloZee said,
“Microworlds is about how humans are so closely related to our vast universe. Humans are little universes themselves. Our eyeball is like a planet, absorbing information, feelings, light and projecting them back. The iris is made of water streams, and our blood vessels are trees and their root systems. Looking into someone’s eyes is like looking at someone else’s world. That is what ‘Microworlds’ is about: stories, people, and memories that shaped my world, but that can also relate and shape someone else’s.”
