HARD Summer taps Marshmello, Travis Scott, Virtual Self, & loads of firepower b2b performances for 2018 lineup
After a rather public breakup with HARD founder and CEO Gary Richards, HARD Summer is betting the farm on their upcoming edition of the LA-based urban festival, held at Fontana’s Auto Club Speedway, August 4-5. This year’s talent pool of over 70 artists may just be their most memorable line-ups to date as the Live Nation-led event digs deep into their black book for marquee dance and hip-hop acts, stitched together by the underground’s finest rising acts.
While HARD Summer is known to deliver one huge back-to-back performance every year, 2018 is now officially the “year of the b2b” with Jauz and Zeds Dead joining up for a co-headlining slot and Diplo and Dillon Francis sharing the stage for the first time. Borgore and Getter are coupling up for a filthy tag-team session, and Baauer and A-Trak are pairing for another one of their legendary excursions into the deep. And these are just the top card back-to-back sets.
Marshmello, Travis Scott, Louis The Child, MØ, and Flosstradamus are all tapped for headlining duties, along with Porter Robinson‘s Virtual Self project and Louis Vuitton’s newly-signed artistic director and moonlighting DJ Virgil Abloh. In between massive headliners, and top-card highlights that include Petite Biscuit, Slushii, Ekali, San Holo, Mija, k?d, Tokimonsta, Madam X, Joyryde, plus many more are helping to shape up one of HARD’s most impressive bookings to date.

This year, HARD is also including added amenities, updated safety and comfort features, plus a hilarious trailer that pins Diplo as the “Dawson’s Creek looking motherf****r” he is. Check out the official HARD Summer trailer below.
