Jai Wolf delights on newest release in over a year, ‘Lost’

After an album-accompanying “Kindred Spirits” US tour, along with a Kindred Spirits remix album with impressive contributions from the likes of KasboHotel Garuda, and Robotaki, future bass producer Jai Wolf has left fans hotly anticipating his return with new content from his euphoric catalogue. The NY-based producer – real name Sajeeb Saha – has just released a new indie-electronic track that proves well worth the wait.

The track, dubbed “Lost,” harkens back to Saha’s recent move towards a chill 80s-infused synth-pop sounding aesthetic. Light hearted, nostalgic, and ethereal are all terms that perfectly encapsulate the track, along with catchy percussive elements and smooth vocals from Jade that transports listeners straight into a scene from a John Hughes coming-of-age film. Saha says of the track,

“Chelsea and I wrote this song as sort of an anthem for a generation of kids who feel disillusioned by the world around them. Feeling lost is something that never necessarily goes away. Even when you might think you’ve found your way, your perspective might shift and you may feel lost again. This song is about that cycle and our desire to escape it. This song is also special to me because it is the perfect bridge between my old music and where I want to go next.”

Jai Wolf will join ODESZA on their headlining tour this fall, and fans can expect to hear a plethora of new music from the producer along the way.
