As the musical project of Canadian producer Tyy Clark, AtYya is captivating transcendental bass audiences worldwide with his very own blend of glitch, trap, and grime alongside a meticulous sampling of everything from hip-hop to jazz and world. AtYyA brings a multi-instrumentalist flair to all of his productions — drawing on his experiences as a professional drummer, bass guitarist, and beatboxer — all of which amalgamate into one cohesive sonic project.

With past releases in his stand-out Aurial EP, released on Merkaba Music, the producer now brings forth his next career-defining project in the form of a 5-track EP dubbed Renew. On the whole, the album is characterized by illustrious basslines, mesmerizing percussive grooves, heart-wrenching melodies, vast ethereal atmospheres, and raw, organic sounds. From the deep and alluring basslines of the title track, “Renew,” to the endlessly unfolding sonic fractals of the closing title, “Wings,” its a musical formula one can meditate to and also get down and swiggly to on the dance floor.

AtYyA’s primary intention with his music is to connect his audiences with the feeling of love, profound happiness, and ecstatic celebration for the gift of life. If Renew is any indication, the producer has been well on his way to doing just that.
