Recently coming off the Journey II Tour in support of Seven Lions, Jason Ross is one newcomer to Seven Lions’ Ophelia Records that is turning heads. With production style that blends progressive trance with melodic dubstep, it’s no wonder he’s caught the attention of Seven Lions and 80,000 fans across the two-month tour.

Ross has now unveiled his newest single “Don’t Give Up On Me,” marking his second release on Ophelia. The single incorporates heavy synths and soothing melodies to create a blissful landscape. Mixed with Dia Frampton’s graceful vocals on top, it’s a breathtaking melodic bass track that shows Ross has soaked up inspiration from touring with long-time friend Seven Lions. On working with Dia Frampton, Ross says,

“I first heard of Dia when I remixed Illenium’s ‘Needed You.’ She has such a kind and beautiful voice. I sent her this track and she sent me back the perfect vocals. it matched so well with the emotion I was trying to convey in the music. Really just a pleasant and fun experience working with her!”

The single is a stellar release to cap off the year as fans patiently wait for his headlining ‘ROOMS’ tour. Ross also has a forthcoming EP by the same name, which is due for an early 2019 release on Anjunabeats.
