Destructo & TroyBoi share official remixes of ‘Fuckin Shit Up’ (ft. Busta Rhymes)
Destructo and Busta Rhymes have had a collaboration that’s been sitting on the shelf for years. The track, “Fucking Shit Up,” was the brainchild of a chance late-night meeting at a club in Brooklyn when the two decided to go into the studio together. Although Gary Richards (aka Destructo) revealed he’s been sitting on the track waiting for the perfect time to release.
Following a viral clip of TroyBoi playing out the unreleased single to a crowd of college co-eds, the mastered track now sees the light of day via a two track remix package. The first is a budding trap remix from the South London producer himself, filled with chopped vocals, 808 kicks, chilled out progressions, and that signature TroyBoi sign-up sample. TroyBoi really pulls apart the track before putting all the pieces back together in his own wonky way.
The second is Destructo’s “4 on the Floor Rework,” which essentially means it’s a house remix that takes the rap single a few steps deeper. The AMF label boss completely reimagines the track, bringing his own grit and spunk to the rap single, along with reminiscent elements of UK garage and the London underground.
