Watch official trailer for ‘The Second Wave,’ a documentary centered on the 2017 Oregon Eclipse
Global Eclipse organizers are tirelessly working towards their event in totality, set to take place in Patagonia, December 10-16, 2020. But with their sights set so far onto the future, they say they’re inspired to reminisce on the past.
That’s why it brings them an intense pleasure to announce the world premiere of The Second Wave, a documentary centered on the 2017 Oregon Eclipse Gathering. The film, directed by South African/American filmmaker Ryan Frame, will play out at this year’s Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival, held in Downtown Los Angeles.
For those at the global event in totality last year, Second Wave is sure to touch on some intense feelings of nostalgia as filmmakers delve into the tribal culture, the familial bonds, and the indescribable sense of awe and wonder that struck to the hearts, souls, and cores of so many on Big Summit Prairie.
It’s a film about the coming of the global citizen. “We are no longer just a nation, or a state, or a city,” the trailer reveals. “We are more interconnected, far greater than we could ever comprehend.”
The official film screening will take place at the Regal LA LIVE Stadium Cineplex, February 15 at 11:30am PCT. Tickets can be purchased for $14, here.
