Watch Bassnectar premiere three unreleased tracks at DejaVoom 2019 [UPDATED]
The first-ever international Bassnectar-curated festival, DejaVoom, is officially on the books. The entire five-day, all-inclusive adventure went off without a hitch and fans are still coming back from dreaming.
Among the absolutely flawless logistical details, Bassnectar delivered three divine sets that had his devout bass head following aweing, crying, and radiating the entire weekend. He even took time during each of his nightly sets to deliver one new unreleased song to his ID-frenzied crowd. Thanks to some committed fans, we’ve selected our favorite three videos below.
The first ID, a delicate and spiritual composition, features a long, synth-led lead-in over incredible visuals symbolizing re-birth and moving into another realm. The second, which was previously identified by Jantsen, is a heavy collab between the two with Born I on the vocals. The third is a Peekaboo collaboration that is likely landing on his forthcoming Reflective Pt. 4 EP.
No official release has been given for the fourth installment in Bassnectar’s Reflective EP series, although he’s shooting for a pre-Coachella release: “[F]inishing final masters for Reflective Part 4 as soon as we get home from Deja,” said Bassnectar over his Twitter. “[H]opefully have it out in time for Coachella – its about to get Hectic.”
