DMVU’s latest Circus Records release blasts off to ‘Distant Planets’
Colorado’s resident bass wizard DMVU wrecks subs with his whimsical bass lines and souped-up sonics. Hot off the heels of his unrelenting singles “Trunk” and “Anotha Potion,” the Circus Records signee has received kudos from Zomboy, Zeds Dead, Run DMT, Dirt Monkey, Herobust, PEEKABOO, Alison Wonderland, Ganja White Night, and many more.
DMVU has become somewhat a cult hero for many in the underground bass music movement and his new single, “Distant Planets,” proves just why. The track is a heavy adventure right out the gate, with wonky basslines, aggressive synth arrangements, and playful carnival samples marking the sonic terrain. With a rumored EP in the pipeline, DMVU fans can expect more “wilding out” bass records to come from the Circus Records signee soon.
