Buku returns with long-overdue three-track EP, ‘Everything’
Fans everywhere have been wondering where in the world Buku went. Two years ago, the Spinnin’ Records signee, known lesser as Robert Balotsky, was positioning himself as one of the label’s most-releasing bass music residents. With an effortless grasp on sound design and music theory, the Pittsburg native became known for combining deceptively simple and emotive melodies, laden with resounding bass drops and intricate drum patterns.
Yet, Buku nearly fell off the map since he hadn’t released a track since 2017. That is, until last week’s release of “Concentrate,” the first single Buku teased from his long-awaited EP. After opening the year supporting Space Jesus on his Temple Of Noom Tour, now Buku returns to the production spotlight with his brand new Everything EP, out now on Thrive Music.
Serving as his first project in nearly two years, the three-track EP is a hypnotizing experience that is sure to make fans remember why they fell in love with Buku in the first place. Consisting of three wildly dynamic tracks, Everything lives up to its title by encompassing all that Buku has to offer. From his hard-hitting bass to his intricate melodies, Everything offers something from every electronic music fan.
Be sure to catch Buku on his headlining Cruisin USA Tour this fall, with dates happening right now.
