Gryffin, Gorgon City, & AlunaGeorge team up on mega-collaboration, ‘Baggage’

Dan Griffith, known as Gryffin in the electronic music world, has been on a roll this year. From releasing his Gravity Part 1 remix album to a catchy one-track pop collaboration with Carly Rae Jepsen, and a trending track with SLANDER dubbed “All You Need to Know,” he’s positioned himself for main stage glory. The superstar match-ups keep pouring in, too. Gryffin now teams up with legendary UK production pair Gorgon City and EDM vocal sensation AlunaGeorge on a feel-good ballad about letting go, “Baggage.”

Singer-songwriter Aluna Francis and producer George Reid join forces under the stage name AlunaGeorge. This powerful electronic duo from London is well-known in the industry for Francis’s elegant vocals that bring peace to each track they create, but this song hits a bit different. “Baggage” explores the realm of future-bass that feels familiar to all creative parties involved while introducing empowering female vocals by Francis. Gorgon City lays down the beatwork and bassline while Gryffin’s signature electric guitar chords string the song’s segments together.

This song wraps Gryffin’s successful summer festival/tour run as well as adds another hit to his growing discography of mega-collaborations. Be sure to watch the official music video for “Baggage” below.
