Lane 8 unveils title track off forthcoming album, ‘Brightest Lights’ ft. POLIÇA
Daniel Goldstein’s Lane 8 moniker constantly gives fans something to look forward to. Between his wildly-popular seasonal mixtapes to his constant releases on Anjunadeep, including an EP and a more recent collaboration with Yotto, the Bay Area artist is consistently delivering quality gems. All of that doesn’t even consider he runs his own indie label in This Never Happened. Now fans have even more to look forward to as Lane 8 officially announces his new album, Brightest Lights.
“We are so bombarded with negative energy these days that it’s easy to forget all the beautiful and positive things that happen every day. Brightest Lights is about celebrating and embracing the ups and downs of life and trying to see the world in a positive light,” Lane 8 said of the incoming album over Twitter.
To celebrate, he’s released the title track off the LP, featuring the heavenly vocals of POLIÇA. The two worked together previously on the anthemic single, “No Captain,” from Lane 8’s Little By Little LP, which made our Top 10 Albums of 2018 list. The new single listens like the uplifting sequel to their previous joint effort, with Lane 8’s signature sounds lighting the pathway for POLIÇA’s angelic voice to glide across. On the production side, Lane 8 opens the gates of heaven with the used of symphonic strings, spirited synths, and complex beat arrangements that move the body in every direction.
Lane 8 will also be embarking on an album supporting tour in 2020, taking him all over the US, Canada, and Europe. Tickets and dates to the Brightest Lights tour are available here. Also be sure pre-save Brightest Lights on CD and vinyl with a new long sleeve tee.
