The Glitch Mob and LICK release long-awaited collaboration, ‘System Bleed’

Since The Glitch Mob released their third studio album, See Without Eyes, the dynamic glitch-hop trio have been officially back in the spotlight. They’ve most recently linked up with LICK on a collaboration that’s been seeing quite a lot of stage time. The track is titled “System Bleed” and was debuted at EDC Las Vegas when The Glitch Mob invited the rising producer on stage to deliver the track.

While The Glitch Mob have been busy on their Alchemy tour alongside NGHTMRE, Slander, and Seven Lions, they’ve been playing the track quite frequently. Now the single sees its fully mastered release in all its glitchy, cinematic glory. Slowly building at first, with gradually introduced crunching builds, “System Bleed” full releases around its mid-way point for a quintessential Glitch Mob-sounding track. Eery and downtrodden at times, uplifting and hopeful the next, the track aligns LICK right into the legendary trio’s sound stamp.

“System Bleed” marks The Glitch Mob’s first collaborative release since last year’s “RISE,” with Mako and The Word Alive, which soundtracked League of Legends. LICK’s debut album, Dark Vibe Order, landed back in early August.
