Shpongle & Android Jones are going on a 7-date tour together

As it would appear, Live Nation is venturing beyond their mainstream musical ouervre  and straight into the psychedelica void. The larger-than-life promotional giant is teaming with Denver-based Euphonic Conceptions, who most recently brought STS9‘s coveted Wavespell set to the Mile High City. The promotional companies have combined on a new show concept, ShpongleDroid, kicking off in New Orleans and ending in New York City.

The special one-night-only show will feature Shpongle frontman, Simon Posford, with a live set against Colorado local Android Jones‘ Microdose VR real-time visuals. Shpongle famously hosted his final show with a full live band show this past summer at Denver’s Red Rocks, while Android Jones most recently brought his immersive art installation, Samskara, to Lost Lands. Together, the two make up a power duo for taking audiences into a tripped-out, fully immersive audio-visual realm.

The ShpongleDroid tour will be hitting seven US markets this November through December. Support will come from Kayla Scintilla and Goopsteppa. Ticket are available beginning this Friday, here.
