The Glitch Mob enlist ZEKE BEATS on punishing peak-time number, ‘Lazer Anthem’

Just a few weeks ago, The Glitch Mob announced forthcoming collaborative releases with rising young talent impacting the bass music scene. Kicking off this cluster of releases, the Los Angeles-based trio paired up with enigmatic up-and-comer LICK on a cryptic, bleeding single. Today, The Glitch Mob have unveiled the next single in the three-part series, dubbed “Lazer Vision,” which stands as a collaboration with Aussie upstart and renowned turntablist ZEKE BEATS. The single is out now via their imprint, Glass Air Records.

“Lazer Vision” is a punishing peak-time number, escalating with subtle chords before cascading into a heavy scintillating bassline. The Glitch Mob brings their signature analog style and distinctive percussion, complementing ZEKE BEATS’ scintillating grime flavor and unparalleled turntablist technique. The Australian producer’s futuristic vision takes the cut to another level when he starts live scratching on the second half of the tune, effortlessly meshing with the trio’s glitched-out production style.

“Lazer Vision” follows the release of ZEKE BEATS’ collaboration with G-Rex on “Purple Haze,” and fans can catch the pair on tour through the end of December.
