The wait is over: Stream Mr. Carmack’s debut vocal album, ‘VIISTA’

Mr. Carmack has had an absolutely explosive year of releases. The Honolulu native has released two coinciding EPs, Demolish and Rebuild, along with a string of adventurous singles. In the midst of all that studio time, Carmack has also been working on putting together vocal-centric artistic endeavor. Now he’s finally poised to let his voice soar on his newest 11-track studio album, VIISTA, out now on Forward Thinkers Group/EMPIRE.

Featuring Kehlani, Bobby Saint, Connor Pearson, Rexx Life Raj, and Drew Banga, VIISTA is a refreshing blend of hip-hop, R&B, and soul with Mr. Carmack’s experimental trap sound. From the chill indie tones of “All These Flags” and the soulful Kehlani-assisted ballad, “All In,” to the vibrant horns on “Reciprocity” and the funky, old West feel of “Catharsis,” the the five-years-in-the-making project is as versatile and forward-thinking as Mr. Carmack’s career itself.

Fans can see the album played out along Mr. Carmack’s Immersion tour, hitting select market until mid-December, in addition to his performance aboard Holy Ship! Wrecked.
