Grimes has new collaborations on the way with REZZ, Nina Kravitz and SOPHIE
Since breaking into the music industry over ten years ago, Grimes‘ independently produced creative style has been dazzling her fans and peers alike. She’s also managed to charm the pants off Elon Musk as well. The Canadian artist, known lesser under her given name of Claire Boucher, has naturally made every artist in the industry want to line up for potential collaborations.
Grimes recently teamed up with rising techno producer i_o on their track, “Violence,” which is set to land on her upcoming LP, Miss Anthroposene. Now she is poised to announce a few more new collaborations. The first is a female powerhouse collab with SOPHIE and Nina Kraviz, titled “Bio-Haque,” which is due for release on December 5. When Grimes took to Twitter to announce the track recently, who would have suspected that fellow Canadian producer REZZ would be milling around in the comments section.
“Let’s finish ours next,” stated REZZ in the comment. Perhaps even more exciting, REZZ also has a new collaboration with DREZO in the pipelines, according to another back-and-forth exchange. Recently, the so-called “Space Mom” released her collaboration with Yultron, which dons her dark hypnotic mid-tempo sound stamp.
