When Industry Strong premiered in March, the Coronavirus quarantine was just kicking off as Stay At Home orders were going into effect in cities and state the country over. The event boasted Zebbler Encanti Experience, Levitation Jones, Mt Analogue, and more for a virtual environment that has underground bass fanatics clamoring for more. Now that most local officials have begun lifting their Stay At Home orders, the live streams are still going strong as the music industry remained closed. That’s why Industry Strong 2.0 is here for a new round of live sets starting today, May 7, and running all weekend long.
Stepping into the arena are production companies Electric Impulse, the force behind Equinox, and Starborn Productions, which puts on Quasar Festival. Together, they are rapidly pulling together a diverse and talented lineup to live stream.
“Join us as the industry comes together in solidarity to provide hope and positivity in a time of social and economic uncertainty for a 76 hour livecast benefiting the artists and professionals being most impacted by this crisis,” say the producers.
Joining in the 2.0 version are headliners An-Ten-Nae, David Starfire, Levitation Jones, Mindex, Mt. Analogue, Partywave, and Soohan. There is also a stelar list of tier two acts to tune in for, including illanthropy, Balkan Bump, Pluto Era, Super Future, Beak Nasty, and more. There is also high quality visuals coming together from the likes of Glass Crane, Tenstrip, and so many more.
The creative team is putting together a centralized fund to accept donations and splitting them amongst struggling artists and professionals. We urge everyone to give what they can to these hard-working and deeply impacted artists. All proceeds are donated to the respective takeover.
