Watch PEEKABOO tease unreleased Zeds Dead collaboration during Home Frequency live stream

Peekaboo is settling into the Deadbeats family rather nicely. With two self-released EPs and three Wakaan EPs to his credit, it’s a mere matter of time before the swiftly rising bass music star releases his debut LP. Considering the LA-based artist has already two Deadbeats EP already under his belt — Impossible and Wrecking Ball, respectively —what better home for such a pivotal project than Zeds Dead‘s powerhouse label. Considering Peekaboo already has two Bassnectar collaborations to his name, Deadbeats would be remised to pass up such an opportunity.

In a step closer to that direction, Peekaboo is finally earning his stripes with a coveted Zeds Dead collaboration. The honor is a right of passage for any new, hotly rising dance music artist on their way to the top. Just look to REZZ‘s recent joint effort with the Candian dance music moguls, “Abyss.” Not only has Peekaboo made it public that he’s got a record with Zeds Dead in the works, but he’s also now given fans a taste of the unreleased track’s heavy dose of unbridled bass

During Monstercat and Brownies & Lemonade’s Home Frequency live stream, Peekaboo unleashed the ID on his virtual audience much to bass music fans’ delight. The track is expectedly heavy and littered with plenty of Peekaboo’s signature production marks. So much so that Zeds Dead’s fingers seemed to have barely touched the track, which showcases Peekaboo as the main producer on the track. Who knows, that could all change in time and work still yet to be put on the track. In any case, the track already sounds like it’s ready for hitting the radiowaves. Here’s to holding out for a release sooner rather than later.
