In an age of overly-saturated online music festivals, Desert Hearts (DH) has been able to stand out amongst the pack. From their Desert Hearts Digital Festival, which took the place of their flagship festival in April, to teaming up with Beatport on We Are All Desert Hearts last weekend, have been able to rack up upwards of 17,000 viewers in one set. Weekend after weekend, the eccentric collection of Burners and their corky collective of house and techno artists have shown they can party through the night into daybreak.
Now the DH crew has revealed a highly-anticipated City Hearts Digital Festival line-up that is turning heads and ausing double-takes. DH founders Mikey Lions, Porky, Marbs, and Lee Reynolds will all be in attendance, along with Mija, Mitch Dodge, Rybo, Ardalan, Evan Casey, Oona Dahl, Memo Rex, and many more. In years past, City Hearts Festival took place in urban locations like Downtown Los Angeles and was a total success. Given that music fans are living in the time of COVID-19 quarantine, the 2020 edition of City Hearts will be live, fully online, and direct from DJs’ living rooms from May 28-31.
Kicking off Thursday, May 28, at 12pm PDT, City Hearts will run on the Desert Hearts Twitch page through the entire weekend into the early morning of Monday, June 1. Fans can also join in the fun via a special Zoom party that encourages fan interaction.
