GRiZmatik are back in the studio on a new collaboration
Since their iconic 2012 collaboration, “Digital Liberation Is Mad Freedom,” GRiZ (Grant Kwiecinski) and Gramatik (Denise Jašarević) have built a dynasty behind their GRiZmatik super duo side project. Going on to include Big Gigantic in their Big GRiZmatik improvisational mainstage unit, they quickly became the go-to jamtronica act at many festival stages over the years.
Now it would appear GRiZmatik has a new tune in the works. Kwiecinski was the one to break the news on Twitter, in typical cryptic GRiZ fashion, when he tweeted “just sent you an email” to Jašarević. The last collaboration fans have seen from the pair was their 2017 GRiZmatik groove, “As We Proceed,” along with previous releases “My People” and “Digital Liberation Is Mad Freedom.” Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
