As Coronavirus rages onward into late summer, Disco Donnie has certainly been getting caught in the pandemic’s crossfire. From having to postpone events like Ubbi Dubbi at the last minute, to combining it with their Halloween offshoot, to their Houston Drive-In event getting virally shut down by the Fire Marshall, it seems like the event production company can’t catch a break.

Now, as many Halloween events start to announce their cancellations due to worsening COVID-19 projections for fall, Disco Donnie has been forced to follow suit. As a result, Ubbi Dubbi Gets Freaky Deaky 2020 is dead in the water before it even got to stretch its fins.

“Observing the state regulatory environment, and using the best science- & health-based information available to us, we have determined it is unsafe to produce Freaky Deaky as originally planned, given the prolonged and unpredictable state of the COVID-19 pandemic,” Disco Donnie said in their full statement (below).

Adding to the cancellation announcement, Disco Donnie Presents released the dates for Ubbi Dubbi’s 2021 return to Dallas/Fort Worth, which is set to take place April 24 – 25. Included on the first phase of the springtime rave-centric massive are Adventure Club, Illenium, Green Velvet, LSDREAM, Rusko, Kaskade, Liquid Stranger, Justin Jay, and many more.

Those who purchased tickets to Freaky Deaky will automatically be transferred to the new dates for Ubbi Dubbi in the spring. Refunds will be available by request via their website. All camping/shuttle passes for Freaky Deaky 2020 will be automatically refunded in full.
