Ghost Dance previews forthcoming mau5trap EP with lead single, ‘Dance with Death’

Username checks out. The French DJ/producer known by the moniker Ghost Dance dropped a moody banger just in time for Halloween. Scattered with ominous vocals, driving synthesizers, and a pulsing kick, “Dance With Death” rises to the occasion with some serious intensity, yet enough groove to bring the crowd out onto the dancefloor.

For those unfamiliar, Ghost Dance is an up-and-comer with a penchant for dark and atmospheric electro beats fit for the underground. Discovered by European indie labels Mähtrasher and Police Records, he was picked up in 2019 by the techno pioneers of the deadmau5-founded label mau5trap. Since signing, he has seen his music in several compilations, including the joint-venture ‘mau5trap x Insomniac Vol.1’ and the imprint’s “we are friends vol. 009“, alongside artists like Grabbitz, ASHE, Mr. Bill, and more.

“Dance With Death” is the lead single off Ghost Dance’s upcoming EP, which is due to arrive later this month on mau5trap.
