Elohim and GRiZ collaborate on electrifying new track, ‘Bring Me Back’

GRiZ and Elohim have recently joined forces, bringing forth a very highly anticipated track, “Bring Me Back.” It’s a collaboration that fans didn’t know they needed until it was finally here. The two artist’s long-lasting friendship, as well as a mutual fondness for each other’s musical vision, is what initially sparked the idea to work together for this project. Elohim, who recently topped CE‘s Best EDM Vocalists celebrating Women’s Month, had the following to say in a press release:

“I’ve always been a fan of GRiZ and his message, his connection with his audience and his musicianship. He is a true artist’s artist and his positivity and authenticity is something that I hold close to my heart. So naturally, I had been wanting to do a song with him for a while now. “

This track combines the signature sounds that are known and loved from both artists. It’s got GRiZ’s infamous funky bass intertwined with Elohim’s melodic vocals, which she already had written. Speaking to the magic touch GRiZ added to the track, Elohim said, “he transformed it into was something from outer space.” It’s incredibly uplifting and inspiring, just like these two always aim to be. They have both been huge advocates for mental health for the entirety of their careers.

I had so much fun getting hype about each new version we were sharing back and forth. It kept getting better and better. Back in 2019, Elohim released a seven-track EP, Braindead, which served as a manuscript on mental health awareness. All of the proceeds from it went directly to charities and organizations that support mental health. She is also involved with the JED Foundation, a nonprofit that focuses on emotional health and suicide prevention. GRiZ has also been very vocal about his own mental health, anxiety, and much more. Additionally, this kind-hearted individual has raised and donated over $200,000 from the 12 Days of GRiZMAS, his annual charity event. He’s also worked with the It Gets Better Foundation, which helps empower younger members of the LGBTQ community.
